About Tokenomics 2024

Tokenomics, International Conference on Blockchain Economics Security and Protocols (the main conference) is a premier international forum that focuses on the theory, design, analysis, implementation, and applications of platform economics, blockchains, and smart contracts. The conference aims to bring together leading economists, computer science researchers, and industry practitioners who are actively working on advancing the field of blockchain economics and technologies. Original interdisciplinary works exploring the conjunction of economic concerns with distributed systems, networks and system security are particularly encouraged. The program offers a unique opportunity to engage with outstanding invited speakers and academic presentations. Information about the previous year’s conference can be found at https://tokenomics2023.splashthat.com/. Full-length working papers from both the economics and computer sciences tracks are welcome to be submitted for presentation at the main conference.

This year, the Tokenomics conference also includes a Workshop on the Economics of Technology and Decentralization (the Tokyo workshop), which will be held at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan. The workshop focuses on the economic analysis of DAOs, decentralized platforms, and the Metaverse. The workshop mainly targets on discussing and exploring research directions, and thus welcomes submission of extended abstract with up to 6 pages. Full-length working papers can also be submitted if you are interested in being invited to the dual submission below.

Dual Submission

Tokenomics 2024 also features a dual submission option with Management Science. Conference organizers may recommend a small set of papers submitted for presentation at the conference to the collaborating editors to be potentially invited for dual submissions to the journal. For interested authors, please indicate whether you would like your conference submission to be considered for potential recommendations to Management Science. For more details about the dual submission, please check the “Policy for Dual Submissions Through Conferences” section in the Management Science submission guidelines: https://pubsonline.informs.org/page/mnsc/submission-guidelines.
